GMC Sierra 3500 Denali HD

Denali HD

Not only do I like high performance sports cars, but I am also a truck guy. By now you are probably thinking to yourself “This guy just likes any vehicle or motorcycle that runs.” Well you are probably right. The new GMC Sierra 3500 Denali HD is actually the truck that I currently have. I will write this post as unbiasedly as I possibly can. My good friend who provides Spokane tree service jobs referred me to his car dealer who sold me this truck. Rob (the tree guy) has used this truck for his business as well as for his personal life.

General Motors really stepped up their game in the past few years with this luxury, high powered truck. They added more power to it making it tied for the most powerful pickup. This vehicle is an upgraded version of the standard Sierra 3500HD. It has an amazing amount of towing ability being able to handle 19,600 pounds. It delivers 397 HP and 765 lb of torque. It has all the towing features of every other mainline heavy duty 2016 truck.

What mainly sets this truck apart is not its ability to perform but the fact that it has an extra flair to it. It is a luxury truck that also performs at a high level. That is a rare thing in when it comes to heavy duty trucks. It feels like a truck that is high end and classy but when a job needs to be done, it can get down and gritty.

If you are looking for the truck that covers all the bases, then this is one I would recommend looking into. I have only had mine for a few months now but I can tell you with 100% honesty that I absolutely love it. If you have any questions regarding the GMC Sierra 3500 Denali Hd feel free to contact me! I would love to chat as always.

Why A Corvette?

corvette

Corvette’s are an amazing vehicle. There are definitely other high performance cars that I prefer but the Corvette holds its ground. If you have the money or are a dreamer and often think about the sports car you want you want to buy someday you will like this post. I am going to give you a few reasons as to why you should buy a Corvette. At the end of the day it all depends on your personal preference, but I simply want to inform you and give you some free information.

Why the Corvette?

  1. It’s accessible and affordable. These cars are still extremely expensive compared to your average car, but for its quality and reputation it is more affordable than many other high performance sports cars. Many middle-upper class men and women can afford this brand.
  2. It grabs your attention. Let’s be honest, this ride is sexy. It turns heads and breaks necks. There is no ride out there that look exactly like it.
  3. It is for both men and women. Regardless of your gender, you will look good driving this car.
  4. It’s American. In my opinion this car represents the American Dream. A person who has worked hard to be able to afford their American Dream car is a special thing.
  5. It’s comfortable. Unlike a lot of sports cars it isn’t crammed. It comfortably fits two.
  6. It has history. This car has been America’s baby for years and years.
  7. It lasts and can be passed down. Corvettes are high quality. They can last longer than 40 years if you take care of them!

Hopefully these reasons as to why Corvettes rule was fun to read. If you have any questions, facts or stories regarding Corvettes please reach out to me and share! I would be thrilled to hear from you!

Limousines Need Love Too

San Antonio is home to a limousine company that has one of the most sleek and sexy limousine fleets I have ever seen. I haven’t actually seen them in person but I have done some research on their site. Below is a photo of one of their San Antonio limos. Normally I don’t have much of an interest in limoamazing limos nor do I keep up to date with their new models and makes but when a limo looks this sick, I am interested. So if any of you are in the San Antonio area, check this company out. It seems like a good time. As I have said previously in my blog, I like performance cars. But, I also appreciate limousines to a certain extent since they promote a sense of luxury, relaxation and enjoyment. Since I share some facts with you in my last post, Awesome Car Facts I figured I would share some limo ones in this post. I mean we are already on the topic of limos so why not?

A Few Fun Limousine Facts You Probably Didn’t Know:

  1. The first limousine was built in 1902.
  2. The longest limousine that has ever been built was 100 feet and had 26 wheels.
  3. The word chauffeur comes from the French word “stoker” which means operator of a steam engine.
  4. The name limousine originated from a Limousin region in France.
  5. Limos were the first cars to adapt air conditioning!

If you have never been in a limousine I do encourage you to book one just for the experience. I know this blog is about speed, racing, and high performance cars and motorcycles but I gotta give the limousine some love. Especially after seeing some of the pictures of that San Antonio Limo Company’s fleet.

If you have questions regarding limos, how to book a limo ride or what to do in a limo feel free to email me! I would love to be of assistance.

Moserati MC12

MC12

The Moserati MC12 made in 2004 is one of the sickest rides known to mankind. This model was Moserati’s last make of a true supercar. This car is a full FIA GT racer that also can be used for the road in day to day life. The fact that this model was put to an end makes the car valuable but the fact that it is a true super car that is also functional for regular road use is what sets it apart. The MC12 is basically a Ferrari Enzo modified for racing. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t want a race car.

It’s body was designed for downforce, not beauty or practicality. With that said, I still think it is a beautiful piece of equipment and looks pretty darn slick. The car looks completely alien on the road, there is nothing like it. People see it and think “this doesn’t belong out here” and that is what so many like about it. For all of you who appreciate fast, arrow dynamic, high performance cars this is your type of ride. This car can do 0-60mph in 3.0 seconds. How crazy is that.

I have driven many cars and worked on and helped design several as well. I have never had the luxury of hopping in one of these bad boys. It is definitely on my to do list. If you are unfamiliar with the Maserati brand visit their website. It is informative, has lots of sweet pics and offers tons of valuable news and events.

Now, I know some of you aren’t as big of car fanatics as I am, but you have to admit that this ride is pretty set apart and sweet. If any of you ever ride in one or come by one shoot me a picture and tell me the story at grayson@gcs.com. I would love to see and hear about it. Until next time!!
